Maya Borowczak

Maya graduated from Cornell University with a bachelors degree in Nutritional Science and is now a first year medical student at RowanSOM. She is studying to become a surgeon and hopes to one day practice medicine at the intersect between clinical practice and teaching. She has 7 years of teaching experience working for several tutoring and test prep companies. She specializes in all branches of science (biological, physical, social and mathematics) for all grade levels including college. She also specializes in standardized test prep (SAT/ACT & graduate level exams i.e. MCAT) with remarkable track records in score improvements. She also advises high-school students with college applications/ essays as well as pre-med college students with medical school applications, essays, test prep, course work and general “game-plans.” Her varied experiences have contributed to her ability to not only present concepts to students in a way that they can understand, but also to her emphasis on reinforcing the critical skills in her students that will maximize efficiency, memorization and time-management capabilities.
