For more than 25 years, Jenny Steichen, Ph.D. has enjoyed tutoring and teaching mathematics. She communicates in a clear, engaging way that is relevant to students. Her deep mathematical knowledge allows her to pinpoint misconceptions and to emphasize mathematical themes. Dr. Jenny quickly discovers and shores up students’ weak spots in mathematics.
Dr. Jenny teaches, tutors, and designs math courses. Her course design experience includes Calculus at the Experimental Studies Program at MIT, Senior High School Math at Green Meadow Waldorf School, Differential Equations at Westchester Community College, and middle school Mathematical Olympiads (MOEMS) math prep course. She currently tutors high school and college mathematics including calculus (AB, BC, I-III semester), statistics (AP), and test preparation (SAT, ACT, NY Regents, AMC8, AMC10). Dr. Jenny organizes the homeschool program at the Mindful Cafe and has 11 years homeschooling in NY and teaching homeschooling students.
